LOWER MOUNTAIN UPLIFT
This Uplift service gives access to 230m elevation and is priced with families in mind. Purchased on site at a per run rate (meaning you only pay for what you use), with discounts for multi uplift passes it offers a more cost-effective option whilst giving access to some of the best beginner to intermediate trails on the lower part of our mountain.

SUMMIT UPLIFT
Summit Uplift passes provide the maximum amount of freedom to explore all Maydena Bike Park has to offer. Giving you unlimited Uplifts to the Summit and Midline trailheads, you have access to our whole network of trails where you can choose your own adventure and find your favourite route down the mountain. We strongly recommend pre-booking your passes below to avoid missing out.
WHAT BIKE SHOULD I RENT?
BIKES FOR THE PARENTS
No bike? No problem. Bikes required to ride at Maydena Bike Park might differ slightly from what you are used to. Our fleet of Giant Reign Enduro Bikes are the perfect place to start on your Mountain Biking journey. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable staff will get you set up on your bike for the day.
For those who prefer more suspension and a confidence-inspiring ride, we offer Giant Glory downhill bikes, perfect for minimal climbing and all the descending. If you want to enjoy both the climb and descent, our fleet of e-bikes is the way to go.

RUN BIKES
This balance bike allows kids to learn to balance on two wheels. It clearly gives confidence to the child; they feel safe and can progress at their own pace. This is the perfect bike for your child to explore the pump track and our lower Wattle Grove loop at the bottom of the bike park.
KIDS BIKES
Our Hardtail Mountain Bikes are proper mountain bikes designed for young people. With 2 size options for kids sized 115-150cm, we have the right bikes to get your young shredder off the pump track and onto our Lower Mountain Uplift.
KIDS LESSONS?
MAYDENA MOUNTAIN KIDS
Running on Sat & Sun during school holiday periods these lessons will develop your child’s mountain bike skills in a fun and social environment. With access to our progressive shuttle system, your kids will progress their learning, exploring all the best trails and skills parks suited to their experience level. These also have the bonus of giving parents the freedom to ride and explore, while their kids are fully supervised by our qualified and experienced guides.
MAYDENA OUTDOOR EDUCATION
KIDS ADVENTURE CAMPS
Maydena Adventure Camp is a 3-day kids camp designed to introduce children to all the different activities in the beautiful South West Tasmanian Wilderness. With a focus on mountain biking and bush walking, this camp will develop your child’s mountain bike skills in a fun and social environment.

Great fun for the whole family and every skill level. The pump track is great fun and will keep you and your young ones entertained between runs or at the end of a day of riding. Not to mention is also great for your mountain biking skills and fitness.

As a beginner what is the best bike to enjoy the park with?
If you are looking at a cost effective as a first taste of Mountain Biking our Trek Roscoe Hardtails are the perfect for beginners to learn the basics on our green and blue trails.
Can I use a shotgun seat?
Due to various reasons at this time unfortunately we cannot allow the use of shotgun seats.
What uplift ticketing options do you offer?
Maydena Bike Park offers a range of ticketing options, including; 1 Day Summit Uplift passes, multi-day Summit Uplift passes, Single Summit Uplift passes and Lower Mountain Uplift passes more details on the options can be found here
What are the benefits of an E-Bike?
E-Bikes allow you to climb further and with less effort. Not to mention they are also a lot of fun to climb uphill. Utilising our climbing network of trails you’ll have access to 400m+ of elevation and trails.
How long and hard is the climbing trail?
Our climbing trail extends from the base all the way to midline with the climbing trail meeting up with the descending trails at various junctions this gives you endless opportunities to create your own adventure.
Both my partner and I would like to ride the Summit uplift, but one of us will remain at the base to supervise our children do we both have to purchase a Uplift pass?
