ABOUT US
OUR STORY
The initial idea for what is now MBP was first seeded in 2008 when founder Simon French visited the site to view the potential for the development of a large-scale mountain bike destination. Following years of discussions and planning, a team of 15+ Dirt Art trail construction staff hit the ground running, developing the park’s initial 35km of trails.
The park opened on January 26th 2018, hosting a couple of hundred riders on the trails for the first time. With the initial investment for the park from the French Family, following the opening, trail works have continued, and have now been supported by the state government.
Maydena Bike Park has grown significantly in its 4 years since opening, adding additional uplift services & drop-off locations, dirt jumps, a skills park and over 100km of mountain bike trails. Set to host National and Global events in 2022 the future of Maydena Bike Park is a bright and exciting one!
