LOWER MOUNTAIN UPLIFT
This Uplift gives access to less elevation and is priced with beginners in mind. Purchased at a per run rate, with discounts for multi passes it offers a more cost-effective option whilst giving access to some of the best beginner to intermediate trails on the lower part of our mountain. As the Lower Mountain Uplift is purchased on-site per run this gives beginners the opportunity to do as many or as few runs as they want and you only pay for what you use.

This pass gives you access to our skills area at the base of our hill. It also includes for those wanting to climb and earn their turns, access to the entire climbing network.
This pass is required to jump on the Lower Mountain Uplift addition to your Lower Mountain Uplift Pass. Book your Mountain Pass online to save time at check in.
WHAT BIKE SHOULD I RENT?

No bike? No problem. Bikes required to ride at Maydena Bike Park might differ slightly from what you are used to. Our fleet of Giant Reign Enduro Bikes are the perfect place to start on your Mountain Biking journey. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable staff will get you set up on your bike for the day. For those who prefer more suspension and a confidence-inspiring ride, we offer Giant Glory downhill bikes, perfect for minimal climbing and all the descending. If you want to enjoy both the climb and descent, our fleet of e-bikes is the way to go.

Our professional guides will help you nail the fundamentals on our new green flow trail network and take you for an unforgettable experience through the Tasmanian Wilderness. Utilising the Lower Mountain Uplift in this 2.5hr lesson our instructors will guide you around the park and teach you the fundamental skills of mountain biking; leaving you feeling confident and comfortable.
WHAT TO RIDE?
BEGINNER TRAILS
Departing from our Lower Mountain Uplift trailhead our trail Dirt Surfer is the perfect introduction to mountain biking and our park. Featuring a mellow gradient and smooth-flowing turns, it suits beginners perfectly. Once you feel confident on this trail there is plenty more to explore with trails such as Scandinavia, Earth Surfer, Evergreen and Colour Blind taking your riding to the next level.

What are the benefits of an E-Bike?
E-Bikes allow you to climb further and with less effort. Not to mention they are also a lot of fun to climb uphill. Utilising our climbing network of trails you’ll have access to 400m+ of elevation and trails.
How long and hard is the climbing trail?
Our climbing trail extends from the base all the way to midline with the climbing trail meeting up with the descending trails at various junctions this gives you endless opportunities to create your own adventure.
I've never ridden a Mountain Bike before can I ride Maydena?
